THE GoAL:

Getir, a leading service offering rapid on-demand delivery for grocery items and restaurant food, has revolutionised how consumers access essentials through their mobile app.

Getir reached out to me with a unique opportunity: they had recently partnered with Neighbourly, a platform that empowers businesses to make a positive impact in their communities through volunteering, fundraising, grants, and surplus product redistribution. Together, they were working to deliver surplus food to local charities, and they needed compelling content to highlight the positive impact of this initiative.

The goal was clear: create engaging video content that showcased the benefit of Getir’s partnership with local charities, and capture high-quality photography at one of their sites to further highlight the story. This content would be used to inspire other companies to follow suit and donate their surplus, contributing to the wider community effort.

THE SOLUTION

After reviewing Getir’s objectives, I developed a plan to showcase the positive impact of their partnership with Neighbourly and the food redistribution initiative. This plan focused on producing a single, engaging video that highlighted the impact of Getir’s efforts by following a local charity receiving support. In addition, multiple high-quality photos were captured at the depot, showcasing the workers organising the food for delivery. The content was designed to emphasise the value of this initiative and inspire other companies to get involved.

THE PLAN:

After selecting one of my combined videography and photography packages, which included a full day of filming and a half day dedicated to photography, we outlined the following deliverables:

    • Social Media Version: 30-second runtime

  • 20 Getir Depot Photos:

    • Bright, colourful images designed to convey a positive and uplifting tone.

This video highlights the partnership between Getir and Neighbourly, showcasing their shared commitment to making a positive impact on local communities. Shot with bright colours to reflect Getir’s vibrant, positive brand, the video captures the essence of their food redistribution initiative and the difference it’s making.

The client was thrilled with the final product, featuring it prominently on their website. It has played a crucial role in driving the initiative forward, inspiring more charities across the UK to get involved and benefit from the support provided by Getir and Neighbourly.

Overall, the content created for Getir and Neighbourly effectively showcased their outstanding efforts to support those in need. It played a key role in advancing their goal of expanding the initiative and reinforced the companies' values of giving back to the community.
